One of the core areas of educational and vocational guidance is methodological know-how in the areas of competence assessment and decision-making. Particularly in the area of competence assessment, it is necessary to provide various tools for different target groups (young people, re-entrants, older people, higher and lower qualified).
But decision-making is also often an issue in initial vocational orientation and reorientation processes and requires appropriate methods that can be accessed by counsellors.
This handbook is intended to present a total of 20 tried and tested methods in detail. These will also be made available in the AMS method database.
