Updating of the Practical Handbook "Methods of Competence and Portfolio Analysis"
Abstract
The practical handbook "Methods of Competence and Portfolio Analysis" presents different approaches of competence analysis.
It differentiates between so called "formative methods" which work based on processes and biography, and so called "summative methods" which mostly work with standardized evaluation programs with the aim to estimate a persons competences and skills as exact and objective as possible.
Not only in the expert community methods have been further developed; also abif has further gained in expertise and know-how, especially in the context of transnational cooperation projects in this field. The insights and new findings will contribute to the updating of the handbook in 2015.
