The social research institute abif has been carrying out application-orientated projects and basic research on a high level since 1999 in an interdisciplinary network. Among our scientific expertise we include the following fields of research:

Among our offers we include socio-scientific surveys, analyse and evaluation of projects and programmes in the field of labour market policy, VET and social policy; theoretical studies to different questions (education, acquisition, social politics, evaluation methodology etc); the planning, realisation and medial spreading of specialized meetings (symposiums, workshops etc); systemic consultation and (in limited form) the partial development of specific further education offers. Methodically abif disposes of profound qualitative and quantitative know-how.

In the framework of our projects we cooperate with national and international experts and institutes, through which we guarantee and develop our level as regards to content. In the last years we have therefore strengthened the initiation of international project co-operation (European Union). We see the exchange on international level as substantial enriching and as central quality criterion of our work.
